eHarmony FreeCom Valentine’s 2009 Free Week officially underway ’til February 16 !

We hinted at it in the news about the 20% coupon promo for eHarmony, but as of today, February 10th the 2009 eHarmony Free Communications Event for Valentine’s day is officially underway. This year, the “FreeCom” lasts until February 16th so you have pretty much a full week to take advantage of their site with access to more communication features than normally accessible to non-paying members. These eHarmony free events are worth giving a go since the normal non-paying member features are extremely limited.


A few interesting stats about eHarmony provided to us directly by their staff:

• Founded in 2000, right at the peak of the Internet bubble, they survived the rough years.
• 20 million members have registered on eHarmony
• 236 people get married per day thanks to eHarmony
• 100,000 people have been married after meeting on eHarmony

OK, so that leaves 19.9M members who may not have succeeded, but it’s definitely worth a shot.

Another thing kind of unique about eHarmony is that they now offer gift subscriptions. So if you already have that special someone in your life it’s a nice for a girlfriend who’s looking for the right one.
